Friendly Road work is almost completed.

Friendly Road on September 21st

Road replacement work began on Friendly Lane September 20th and will continue from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. from Monday thru Friday until November 25th. Please drive with caution.

Road Commissioner Sam Vergata, Ray Barrett, Field Inspector, and Kevin Mansfield, Chief Inspector (both from Village Engineers Sidney B. Bowne) reviewing Friendly Road conditions on September 29th. Rain may delay completion of the road for a few days. It is essential for the roadbed to be dry and stable before asphalt is laid on top.

Final phase is the shoulder work and driveway transitions.

The first layer of asphalt was laid on Friday, October 7th. The road work looks good.
