Oyster Bay/East Norwich Central School District

Every month the Oyster Bay/East Norwich School District meets to discuss many different topics involving their schools. Budgets, facilities, reports and many other presentations are discussed with the public. The Board of Education encourages participation at all of their meetings.

Below you will find a list of Meeting dates as well as Voter information and forms.

All meetings of the Board of Education are open to the public and are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Oyster Bay High School’s Library/Media Center. The District Calendar lists the specific dates. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm. Most meetings include an Executive Session, which is NOT open to the public. During the public portion of the Board of Education meetings, however, time is planned for comments and questions from residents in attendance. The Board encourages community participation!

Locust Valley Central School District

A Public Hearing of the Locust Valley Central School District will be held in the Mini-Theatre of the Locust Valley Middle School/High School, 99 Horse Hollow Road, Locust Valley, New York on May 3, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. prevailing time, for the transaction of business including the following items:

1. To present a detailed statement (proposed budget) for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
2. To discuss all the items hereinafter set forth to be voted upon at the Tuesday, May 15, 2018 Budget Vote and Election.
3. To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Absentee Ballots

An Absentee Ballot can be used by anyone who is unable to appear in person on the day of the school district election. College students who are registered to vote in the District should complete an application for an Absentee Ballot early to allow for timely mailing of the Absentee Ballot. For further information:

You must vote in the election district in which you reside. The designated polling places in each election district are as follows:

Bayville Election District:

Bayville Intermediate School, Gymnasium , Mountain Avenue, Bayville 

Brookville Election District:

Community Hall of the Brookville Reformed Church , 2 Brookville Road, Brookville 

Locust Valley Election District:

Ann MacArthur Primary School, Gymnasium, 100 Ryefield Road, Locust Valley

Voter Information

In order to vote you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old or older, and a resident of this school district for at least thirty days before the vote. In addition, a resident must be registered either with the school district or with the Nassau County Board of Elections. If you are not already registered with either, you may register with the County by mail or in person.
